Mindfulness Practice Day
the first in-person since lockdown
Saturday 28th May from 10 am - 4.30 pm
Maidstone, ME16 0EY
This is a rare opportunity to come together and practice in a small group and reconnect with your Mindfulness practice and with others in the Mindfulness community, using both indoor and outdoor spaces.
We will still be careful, observing COVID precautions and I ask you to take a lateral flow test beforehand. The number of participants is also limited to 6. Therefore, if you are interested in joining us, don't delay in booking your place.
We will be exploring the theme throughout the day with formal, guided meditation, informal Mindfulness practice and dialogue. How do we keep our Mindfulness practice alive and fresh? How can we foster a way of being present in our body and mind, appreciating each moment and also linking into the space and connecting with people around us in everyday life?
We will have time to let the theme settle during sitting, walking and movement meditation.
Large parts of the day, including the lunch break, will be in silence in order to be able to focus on our experience from moment-to-moment. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to have a private conversation with me about your Mindfulness practice and any related questions you might want to bring up.
Fee: £60 (concs. available)
Stress Reduction through Mindful Awareness Course (MBSR)

6.30 - 8.45 pm
8 Evenings, including an All-Day Workshop on Saturday 18th June
(no class on 8th June)
An 8-week course to develop the ability to be more aware of one’s moment by moment experience and so helping to cope better with a wide range of physical and psychological difficulties. Regular home practice is essential, supported by audio recordings and workbook. Taught in small groups, one-to-one or as a distance learning course.
This course will be taught in person to small group held in Maidstone, Kent, or, if government COVID-19 guidelines and safety issues don't allow this, the course will be moved to an online platform (Zoom) at the same dates and times.
Time to Be
A residential 3-Day Mindfulness Retreat
at Emerson College, East Sussex
April 28th – May 1st, 2022
With Barbara Hussong and Chantek McNeilage
We have great pleasure in finally being able to announce and invite you to attend this 3-day retreat in-person! We offer you the opportunity to practise together in a group, supported by guided meditations, movements, readings and sharing. Many of us will have experienced a lot of difficulties and challenges during the last months and years.
Let us come together and immerse ourselves in practice with ‘Time to Be’. This will be an opportunity for renewal of our energies, our spirit and our practice. Spring is emerging, time now to tap into the rhythm of the changing seasons and transition out of winter and restrictions.
Each day there will be lightly guided practices and a talk or theme given by one of the facilitators including time to share your experience. It is important to participate in the entire retreat.
Emerson College fulfil all the current precautions with regard to COVID regulations and offer single rooms. As it stands now, we would require that you to take a Lateral Flow Test before your arrival. The group room is spacious and allows for good ventilation. We will update you nearer the time with the current precautions according to guidelines.
These 3 days can count towards the 5-day retreat requirements for the Good Practice Guidelines & BAMBA,
Fee: £365
Fee includes all teaching, accommodation and meals.
We are happy to offer some concessions for those who have reduced funds at this time.

Choosing - which therapy is the one for me? If you are not certain which treatment meets your needs best, I will be happy to talk to you and assess your situation with you and help you find the therapy approach that suits you best for your particular circumstances.
Biodynamic Psychotherapy
stimulates and activates the person’s physical and psychological self-healing potential, bringing about a greater integration of body and mind, for dealing with depression, anxiety, loss of meaning, psychosomatic problems, etc.
Biodynamic Massage
is used either separately or as an integral part of Biodynamic Psychotherapy. Specifically designed massage techniques help balance and harmonize your energy.
Therapeutic Massage
using oils, stimulates the circulation and releases tension in the affected areas e.g. pain arising from neck and shoulder stiffness, muscular backache and tension headaches.
Reiki Healing
the subtlest level of healing, balances the body-mind energy flow. During treatment (in which you remain fully clothed) the practitioner lays her hands on areas of the body to generate healing.
